Creative and flexible set designs for conferences in locations around the world,
including Brazil, Singapore and the US, for several thousand Nestle management staff.

GLOBAL CREATIVE CONFERENCE

With the aim of encouraging interactivity and creativity amongst the participants,
Simon was responsible for the conversion of an aircraft hangar at Berlin Tempelhof Airport
into an innovative and spectacular `theatre in the round'. He also designed and produced
supporting events outside the conference centre in various local venues.

World Management Convention
Company: Innovision
A large event, spanning three locations for 300 senior management. Working on a Victorian
theme Simon created sets inspired by the Great Exhibition of 1851 and the brewing heritage
of the UK; spanning venues from a large country mansion to London's modern Cabot Hall Conference Hall.

NEW YORKER MAGAZINE EVENT
Condé Nast
Using Glasgow's historic Old Fruit Market as a venue, Simon designed sets for a
management event around the theme of the industrial revolution and Glasgow's industrial heritage.


THEATRE

Simon studied Theatre Design at the Slade School of Art and Central St Martin's School of Art and Design. His extensive credits as designer include `Antony and Cleopatra' with Vanessa Redgrave, `Les Liaisons Dangereuses' in Zurich with Peter Wood, `The Dearne Valley Opera' with Stephen Dexter, `Fourplay' at the Lyric, Hammersmith, `Song of an Honorary Soulman' as a national tour, and `Pal Joey' at the Edinburgh Festival. He has worked for the RSC, De Nederlandse Opera, Scottish Opera, Houston Grand Opera and The Royal Ballet, amongst many others.
